Brownie Points

The Brownie Points program has been set up by Quantum to award staff members who go beyond the call of duty to benefit the property where they work. They are also awarded to individuals who fill in for other employees or help out at other properties. The following is a list of the recipients of the Brownie Points awards and the reason that they received them:

Congratulations to Emerson House Apartments

We here at Quantum would like to say Congratulations to the staff of Emerson House Apartments, for scoring a 96 on their annual HUD REAC inspection. On September 13th we took them to dinner to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication to the residents of Emerson House Apartments.

Congratulations to James Harris of Emerson House Apartments

Property: Emerson House Apartments

On September 13, 2010 the city of Bladensburg honored James Harris for his valiant effort in trying to save the life of one of the Emerson House residents. He was also given an award from Quantum for his bravery. Here at Quantum, we pride ourselves on loyalty and dedication to serving our residents, and we are grateful to call Mr. Harris one of our own.  Below is an article featured in The Gazette newspaper regarding the incident.

James Harris Jr. was honored as a “home-town hero” by the Bladensburg Town Council for trying to save the life of a resident at the Emerson House independent-living apartment building for seniors, where Harris works as an engineer.

Famatta Dennis was awarded Brownie Points for making her transition from Assistant Property Manager to Property Manager a great one. Famatta has made day-to-day operations at Island Walk trouble-free, and we thank her.

Bonnie Hyde

Bonnie Hyde was awarded Brownie Points for an awesome job as the new Property Manager of Shriner Court. Bonnie has implemented new programs and initiatives for the residents and improved  those that were already in place.

Valerie Hill was awarded Brownie Points at our most recent management meeting for reaching and maintaining a 100% occupancy rate at Bywater Mutual Homes, where she is Property Manager.

Without exception and without questions, she is the most flexible employee who is willing to go anywhere and do anything without notice and never complains. A real team player that has a great attitude!!

Barbarra Fritz

Property: Marywood Apartments

Barbara has been working for Marywood Apartments for 25+ years and she is very helpful and dedicated. She is not just a housekeeper, she has even been know to help with bingo. She has a pleasant attitude and good work help keep Marywood a clean and warm place the residents can call home. Barbara always has a smile on her face.
