Solidifying the Quantum Culture with Gregg Gregory, CSP

On Thursday, October 21, 2021, Quantum invited the founder of Teams Rock, Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) Gregg Gregory back as a guest speaker for our Managers Meeting. With two decades in the residential real estate and mortgage banking industry, we anxiously anticipated his appearance. Gregg’s focus was on “Solidifying the Quantum Culture: One Team Moving in One Direction”.

Gregg provided Quantum employees with an immense amount of information to reflect upon. He asked questions that challenged everyone to think outside of the box as he simultaneously identified how the human brain can occasionally overthink things. Gregg encouraged everyone to step outside of their comfort zone and into their area of growth. During the meeting, Quantum employees were able to comfortably express what effective teamwork means to them, what the benefits are to being vulnerable at work, as well as what challenges they are faced with on their team.

Below is a list of 5 key takeaways from his presentation:

  1. Celebrate your failures the same as you celebrate your successes.
  2. Take pride in your job no matter what it is.
  3. It’s not how you get knocked down but how fast you get back up.
  4. Find motivators, intrinsic or extrinsic, still find them.
  5. Things are never as they seem so be willing to look at things differently and with an open mind.

Not only were we left in awe of the gems Gregg supplied, but we were also provided with resources and action-items that would further propel us into becoming better teammates and ultimately, better people. After all, “Knowledge is not power without application.” Thank you, Gregg, for providing us with resources we can use not just at work, but in our everyday lives.

A Message from the President of Quantum

During the past few weeks, hearing the anger, listening to the cries of despair, and seeing the hundreds of protests, the unrest, and the growing racial tensions in our country, it all causes us to delve deep into our hearts and souls to assess our thoughts, words, and actions.

As Quantum’s owner, I want to let every Quantum employee know that we do not, and will not, tolerate racial injustice of any kind. We do not and will not condone violence, and we will not allow hatred, in any form, to be a part of our corporate environment or the environment of the communities that we manage.

Our properties we professionally manage throughout the tri-state area are home to a large and diverse group of people – races, religions, and beliefs. We will continue to respect every one of our residents just as we will do every Quantum employee.

We can put on paper many more words to demonstrate our solidarity; however, what is most important is that we show it in our actions. Quantum will provide support to the communities, residents, and employees by demonstrating racial justice, tolerance, and a real community spirit for everyone.

COVID-19 Update

May 13, 2020 Update

HUD has published a new page with Questions and Answers for both owner/agents and residents of Multifamily Housing programs Topics include:

April 27, 2020 Update

HUD has issued the following brochure to answer resident questions.

March 16, 2020

During this rapidly changing national state of emergency, our management office will be doing their best to slow down as much day-to-day foot traffic as possible. To provide all the residents and staff with a safe environment, we are adjusting the property activities as follows:

    • Effective immediately, we are closing the Rental/Management Offices to the public traffic and asking that residents only visit the office after calling ahead to make an appointment. This way we can control the amount of people in the office for everyone’s safety. It is necessary that we ask any resident that is sick to not visit the office. If there is anything that you need to have delivered to the office, please have it dropped off or we will arrange to have it picked up from your apartment. All rent checks should be delivered through the drop box or mail slot at the community’s rental office.
    • All Maintenance requests should be called into the office and for the safety of the staff, only emergency maintenance will be addressed at this time. Emergency maintenance will include urgent needs such as no heat or a/c, non-working appliances, clogged drains, malfunctioning smoke detectors, security issues such as a key or door issue and any other repairs needed to keep the resident safe and secure.
    • Due to the current steps being taken by the Federal Government, Quantum Real Estate Management is doing their part to slow this virus down. We will continue to work with cleaning and staff to ensure that everything is being done to keep the building clean and as germ free as possible.
    • We will monitor the situation daily and keep all residents informed as often as necessary. It is our hope that this situation will not last for a long period of time, but in the interim, we ask for your continued patience and understanding.
    • Communities with Bus/Van must restrict participants to no more the 5 residents. Multiple trips might be necessary.
    • Senior Communities that have common areas that can be restricted by closing a door should be closed until further notice.
